India Space Academy to Launch One-Month IoT Skill Training Program in April; Registrations Open from March 7
The India Space Academy, the educational arm of India Space Week, is offering an exciting opportunity for students to dive into the world of Internet of Things and gain hands-on experience through real-world projects. The program is designed to help learners apply classroom knowledge to practical technology skills that are highly sought after in today’s industries. Registration begins on 7th March 2026 and will remain open until 30th March 2026.
Recognized as one of India’s leading space education institutions, ISA bridges the gap between traditional academics and the evolving demands of the global space and technology sectors. Aligned with NEP 2020 and Skill India, the academy provides advanced training, testing, and certification to equip students as “future-ready” innovators.
This program is conducted in partnership with two prominent organizations. The National Skill Training Institute, under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, delivers vocational and technical training nationwide, covering both traditional trades and emerging technologies like AI, drones, and cloud computing. Wegyanik, a pioneer in AI, robotics, and space technology, supports students with hands-on kits, online and offline programs, and opportunities for research and innovation.
Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of IoT. Each student will receive a professional Wegyanik hardware kit, including sensors, microcontrollers, and actuators. Using this kit, they will work on over 40 practical projects, ranging from smart home devices to automated agricultural solutions connecting coding skills directly with real hardware.
The curriculum also includes Rapid Prototyping and CAD, allowing students to transform digital designs into physical models using 3D printing. The program culminates in a Capstone Project, where every participant will build a fully functional system, ready to showcase in their professional portfolio.
Throughout the course, students will explore IoT fundamentals, interact with sensors and actuators, develop smart solutions, design 3D prototypes, integrate hardware and software, and document projects according to industry standards. By the end of the program, they will be able to design prototypes, fabricate PCBs, implement IoT solutions, and create tangible, real-world products.
Every participant will receive:
- A complete hardware kit
- Access to professional software
- Project-based learning experience
- Mentorship from industry experts
- Lifetime access to recorded sessions and learning materials
- Outstanding projects may qualify for a virtual internship upgrade.
Don’t miss the opportunity register between 7th and 30th March 2026, and take the first step toward becoming a future-ready tech innovator. The participation fee for the program is ₹2500 per person.
